LOVE HATE ECHO STORY OF THE LITTLE BOY

LOVE HATE ECHO STORY OF THE LITTLE BOY

Hi, how you doing today? I was reading this book by Zig Ziglar called "See You at the Top" and came through this little story about a little boy. In my words, for you:

The boy and his mommy lived in a village in a valley.

Whatever the reasons, that day, the little boy was furious at his mother. He goes to her and scolds at her names, in his boyish language. Afraid of punishment, he runs into the valley alone.

He was still furious. Over his upsetting, he calls out loud into the void, "I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU."

The echo hits his ears as harshly as he said it. "I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU."

Awfully scared...scared than never before, he runs back home and tells the mother, "Mommy, there's a little mean boy who's calling at me that he hates me!!"

The mom knew who that mean little boy was.

She took her boy again into the valley and ask him to call out loud, this time, "I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU."

The boy does it. It echos back. "I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU."

Mommy says, "Baby, See? It's a nice little boy who says he loves you."

As a Man Thinketh by James Allen

This book is a prayer to heart of our existence: to thought. If I ever want to suggest a book to someone, it would be this. I read this book no less than a 50 times, and I keep listening to the its audiobook every day. Starting with the Bible aphorism, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." the book devotes to sing the song of thought. It is one of the books that unconsciously tried to answer the question, "Who are we human beings?" James Allen said, in his celebrated perspective, "You are your thought." He himself cites Bible for this thought, but I believe he is the one who spread it into people, by giving it that RIGHT perspective.

Man's Search For Meaning by Viktor Frankl

Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist, made enormous contribution to stretch the boundaries of human capacity to be resilient. He was sent to a Concentration Camp synonymous to death and through his belief and the techniques he own developed by stretching out his capacity, he survives it.
He popularized, through his later professional work and writings millions of people stuck in depression--and the modern day's self-made diseases of self.
Read this book. It's worth your time.

Think and Grow Rich

I'm presently in the second reading & first listening to the audiobook.
Maybe you have read many books on personality development and excellence, but without knowing this guy Napoleon Hill's Think & Grow Rich---you're not complete. Just read the introduction, and if you don't like it, throw it off. And I'm sure you will like it--because it is just true.

Hey, friends! Reading choosy books is like harvesting your favorite seed in the acres of your soil (your mind) It is a very commonplace in the corporate world to say, "Do you say you don't have time to read? I wonder if you have any time to live." So, friends, read. It doesn't matter if you can only pay 10 minutes of time. It's enough, if you do it committed.

Find why you should read books, and read. Thanks for reading.
